The Department of Paediatrics successfully conducted a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Course on 25th April 2026 at the Skill Lab. The program was organized to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of postgraduate students in the resuscitation and stabilization of newborns during critical situations.
All postgraduate students from the Department of Paediatrics actively participated in the course. The training included sessions on neonatal resuscitation protocols, airway management, positive pressure ventilation, chest compressions, medication use during resuscitation, and post-resuscitation care. Hands-on simulation-based training enabled participants to practice and refine essential neonatal life-support skills.
The course provided valuable learning opportunities and helped strengthen the participants’ confidence and competence in managing neonatal emergencies. Such training programs reflect the department’s commitment to continuous medical education and improving the quality of newborn care.
