With unstinted support from Honorable Chairman of NET  Sri SR Reddy sir, its a proud moment to share that the Department of Pediatrics at Navodaya Medical College & Research Centre, Raichur, has been awarded the prestigious Accredited Institution Certificate by the Paediatric Resuscitation and Emergency Research Network India (PRERNI). This recognition highlights the department's commitment to advancing pediatric resuscitation and emergency research, aligning with national standards for excellence in pediatric emergency care.

    About PRERNI and Its Significance

PRERNI is a national collaborative network dedicated to improving pediatric emergency medicine and resuscitation research across India. Formed through the efforts of leading experts and in partnership with international collaborators, PRERNI sets rigorous standards for hospital accreditation, focusing on clinical care, research, technology, and the organization of pediatric emergency services. Accreditation by PRERNI signifies that an institution meets these high standards and is actively contributing to the advancement of pediatric emergency care and research.

    The Accreditation Ceremony

A formal ceremony was held at S.Nijalingappa Medical College Bagalkot to commemorate this achievement, where representatives from PRERNI presented the Accredited Institution Certificate to the Department of Pediatrics. The event was attended by faculty, staff, and distinguished guests, underscoring the importance of this milestone for the institution and the broader medical community.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of Prof & Head,Dr Sanjeev Chetty,  Professors Dr. Pranam and Dr. Usha of Pediatrics at Navodaya Medical College, Raichur. Their leadership played a pivotal role in:

– Implementing PRERNI standards within the department, ensuring compliance with best practices in pediatric resuscitation and emergency care.

– Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and continuous professional development for faculty and residents to enhance emergency response capabilities.
