Webinar on Role of Carbetocin in Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH)

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology successfully conducted a webinar on 13th September 2025 on the topic “Role of Carbetocin in Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH)”, in collaboration with Hetero Health Care.

The session was delivered by Dr. Rita D, Professor and Head of the Department of OBG, who provided an in-depth overview of the role of Carbetocin in the prevention and management of PPH. The lecture covered various aspects of PPH management, including clinical protocols, evidence-based practices, and practical considerations in obstetric care.

The webinar concluded with an engaging panel discussion and interactive question-and-answer session involving postgraduate students and faculty members. This interaction proved highly beneficial in enhancing participants’ understanding and guiding them toward effective and timely management of postpartum hemorrhage.

The webinar contributed significantly to academic learning and clinical preparedness in obstetric emergency care.
