Interdepartmental PG Activity on Dacryocystitis by ENT & Ophthalmology
The Department of ENT, in collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology, Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (NMCH&RC), conducted an Interdepartmental Postgraduate (PG) Academic Activity on 30 May 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The session focused on the topic “Dacryocystitis,” a condition of common clinical importance to both ENT and Ophthalmology. The initiative was organized to promote interdisciplinary learning, enhance clinical knowledge, and encourage collaborative discussions among postgraduate students and faculty members.
The academic presentations were delivered by Dr. Krishna T. Yadav and Dr. Yamini K. from the Department of ENT, along with Dr. Nivedita and Dr. Hemavathi from the Department of Ophthalmology. The presentations covered various aspects of the condition, including its clinical features, diagnosis, management, and multidisciplinary approach.
Faculty members and postgraduate students from both departments actively participated in the session, leading to an engaging and insightful discussion. The interactive academic activity strengthened interdepartmental collaboration and provided valuable learning opportunities for all participants.
