Infection Control Training on Blood Spill Management | Navodaya Medical College Hospital, Raichur

Today, Dr. Preeti Sharma, Infection Control Officer & Faculty, Department of Microbiology, along with the Infection Control Team, conducted an important training session on “Blood Spill Management” for Housekeeping Staff, Nurses, Attenders and Supervisors.

The training focused on infection prevention, safe handling of blood spills, appropriate use of PPE, disinfection procedures and prevention of healthcare-associated infections.

Sincere appreciation to Dr. Preeti Sharma and the entire Infection Control Team for taking this valuable initiative and strengthening infection-control practices among our frontline staff.

Special appreciation to Infection Control Nurse Ms. Netra, Ms. Shameem, Mr. Arun, Mr. Hariprasad and Ms. Kalpana (ICN) for their active participation and support in making the training successful.

Such regular training programmes are essential for promoting patient safety, staff safety and a strong culture of infection prevention in our hospital.
