The Department of Paediatrics successfully conducted a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course on 30th and 31st May 2026 at the Skill Lab. The course was organized to enhance the knowledge, clinical skills, and emergency response capabilities of healthcare professionals in the management of critically ill and injured children.
All postgraduate students from the Department of Paediatrics actively participated in the two-day training program. The course included comprehensive sessions on pediatric emergency assessment, airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), management of respiratory and circulatory emergencies, cardiac arrest algorithms, and simulation-based hands-on training.
The interactive sessions and practical skill stations provided participants with valuable experience in managing pediatric emergencies effectively and confidently. The program served as an important platform for strengthening life-saving skills and promoting excellence in pediatric patient care.
