Poster Delicti 2026 Report | Inter-Collegiate Poster Competition in Forensic Medicine
The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, organized Poster Delicti – 2026, an inter-collegiate poster competition based on the theme Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, on 17th April 2026 from 11:00 AM onwards at the 1st Floor, Departmental Lobby.
Introduction
The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology successfully organized Poster Delicti – 2026, an inter-collegiate poster competition aimed at promoting academic creativity and scientific thinking among medical students. The event served as a platform for participants to present innovative ideas and case-based interpretations in the field of forensic medicine.
Objectives of the Event
- To encourage students to explore and present concepts in forensic medicine and toxicology
- To enhance analytical and presentation skills
- To promote awareness of medico-legal aspects in clinical practice
Participation
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. Participants presented 39 posters covering a wide range of topics such as:
- Forensic case studies
- Toxicological emergencies
- Crime scene analysis
- Medico-legal issues and innovations
- Cyber forensics
Event Proceedings
The event commenced at 11:00 AM with a brief inaugural address by faculty members, highlighting the importance of forensic medicine in modern medicine.
Participants were allotted spaces to exhibit their posters. Each participant was given time to explain their work to the panel of judges, followed by a question-and-answer session.
The evaluation was conducted by a panel of experts based on:
